The Objectives of the San Clemente Garden Club are to provide an educational forum that:

• Stimulates interest in gardens

• Provides college scholarship assistance and encouragement to future horticulturists and environmental students

• Promotes and supports junior gardening in local schools

• Promotes excellence in gardening practices

• Participates in community beautification

• Encourages the conservation of natural resources

• Offers an opportunity for social interaction among members who share a common interest in gardening and the environment

• Provides an on-line resource for information for club members and the community to access that supports: SCGC activities, events and information and includes links to National Garden Clubs, Inc. (NGC), Pacific Region Garden Clubs (PRGC), California Garden Clubs, Inc. (CGCI) and Orange County District of California Garden Clubs Inc.

Through monthly meetings, workshops, field trips and hands-on projects our members have the opportunity to support our objectives and continually learn, while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow members.
