Staghorn Fern Workshop

A huge, old staghorn was donated by Tony Natali’s neighbor. Launa Gould hosted a small workshop to break apart the monster and mount staghorns for the plant sale. Fifteen plants were created including the Mother staghorn. The Mother was offered for $100 to the line of people who showed up at 7:30am for the plant sale. A gentleman, Gene, bought it on the spot along with a wagon full of plants from the sale. Thank you Kim Neal, Kieu Doan and Deborah Spang for helping mount the staghorns and give them a new life in our neighborhood gardens.
