2024 Succulent Pumpkin Workshop

The San Clemente Garden Club (SCGC) proudly hosted a Succulent Pumpkin Workshop at the lovely home of Launa Gould on November 12th. This event was perfectly timed for participants to create a fabulous holiday centerpiece that they could proudly display in their homes throughout the Thanksgiving holiday. During the workshop, attendees crafted beautiful works of art by carefully attaching moss and a variety of succulents to their pumpkins. They followed one of the fundamental principles of floral design: incorporating the Thriller, Filler, and Spiller elements to achieve a balanced and eye-catching arrangement.

If you were unable to attend this year’s workshop, don’t worry—another Succulent Pumpkin Workshop will be offered during the 2025-2026 garden club year, giving you another opportunity to learn and create your own festive centerpiece.
